Patriotic Party Projects

Submitted to What's New

July is around the corner, and from all the projects we’re seeing in the Studio, we know our creators are in full-on DIY mode!

In a few short weeks, our American and Canadian members will be celebrating Canada Day 🇨🇦 (July 1) and Independence Day 🇺🇸 (July 4). We’re flagging a few projects to get you in the patriotic spirit (see what we did there?)

We can’t think of anything that’s more patriotic than a flag … made using baseball bats! The all-American favorite sport gets the spotlight in this DIY flag project, which we think would be the perfect décor piece at a Fourth of July party.

We know our Canadian members also love the flag, and we think Coral Channel’s Rustic Wood Flag project would look spectacular in any setting. Check out her video for step-by-step instructions on using a dry brush paint technique.

How quick and easy is this front door décor?! We’re loving this simple and speedy project that would easily put your door in tip top patriotic shape before your guests arrive.

Too Stinkin’ Cute has assembled the sweetest little red and white candy bar, that we think would be the hit of any patriotic party!

And why not ratchet up your patriotic party cred –  your guests will be dazzled when they see their drinks being served from this rolling red bar cart from Ana White Designs.

Creators, we hope these ideas give you the jump on some patriotic party planning. If you tackle any of these – please share. And if you have a past project that filled you with patriotic pride, we’d love to see it. Happy celebrating!
