There are many trends that come and go quickly, but two-toned cabinetry in the kitchen has staying power. Gone is the classic-looking kitchen of the early 2000s.
You’ve seen the trend: upper cabinets in one color and the grounded, lower cabinets in another. The colors are typically in similar shades, but it’s not uncommon to see white on the upper cabinets and a bold blue on the lower cabinets or on an island.
This color popping trend has been around for the last 5 years or so and has proven to be worthy of continuing.
Adding two different colors in the kitchen makes something stand out and allows you to add some color without taking too much risk. After all, it’s just paint, right?
