Trash to Treasure VI knocked it out of the park yet again … amirite?!
There is nothing more satisfying than seeing sheer genius at work - as our members took an item that’s intended for one purpose, and turned it into something completely different. Bravo team!
Before we get to the main announcement, we wanted to shout out some Honorable Mentions – these projects weren’t advanced to official voting for various reasons (including not meeting the criteria of “tak[ing] an item typically used for one thing and transform[ing] it into something with a completely different function”,) but they stood out to us.

Trash to Treasure VI challenge rules prevented two consecutive wins, and since @Vimarhonor recently won first place in the Fabulous Fungi Challenge she wasn’t eligible to move forward to voting. But - we loved this necklace and figured that the Iris Apfel inspiration was worth a second look!
