Dry sink to wow sink
A client gave me this dry sink. It was dark brown, almost black stain from the 70's. It also had a glossy finish on it, with that gold hardware. I had to fix it!
An updated version of itself!
Steps to Transform
After sanding and cleaning this piece, I painted the body with Rustoleum chalk paint in Charcoal, and Varathane stains for the new work surface in weathered grey and briarsmoke. I also replaced the back with reclaimed wood that I lightly sanded and brushed on the briarsmoke as well. The whole piece is finished off with Varathane topcoat in satin finish. This piece sold within 12 hours!
