I love relaxing, gardening and eating. When I had the chance to combine these three things in a chair challenge, it was the perfect project for me. Took out this old chair that was in my attic and created a garden that gives me all the things I love to do.

Materials:Chair/Spray Paint/Wood/Herbs Plants/Glue/Miter Box/Stencil/Paint/Brush

Hows its done!

I took the seat off to spray paint the frame of the chair. (I am planning to put the seat back on) Once the chair was all painted. I sprayed painted the seat and attached it back on.
I made a box garden with the same dimensions of the seat. (To create the box you measure the size of the seat and I used my miter box to cut the pieces of wood.) I glued each end with a strong adhesive and let dry for a few hours.
I then attached the box to the seat with more glue and sprayed painted the wood the same color as the chair.

Stenciling the words: Relax/Garden/Eat

I carefully with chalk made 3 lines on the front of the chair as a guide to stencil the letters. I carefully placed the letter stencil and quickly dab some paint on it. Continued doing this until the words Relax, Garden and Eat appeared. :)

Adding Herbs Plants:

Now that everything is done, the last thing is adding the potting soil and herbs. I added the soil first and planted the herbs in any order. I added my herb garden by my backyard area. It my favorite place to relax, garden and eat.
