Experimental try at paper sign making.
Making changeable - not permanently attached-wordy sign paper inserts for a deep set frame.

First time try using a painted textured paper.
Cut both watercolor and canvas paper to frames inside dimensions.
Primed paper with a creamy off white acrylic.

First sign-I transferred vinyl lettering onto the painted canvas paper sheet.

Second Sign- I spray painted a positioned vinyl adhesive stencil onto the painted watercolor paper sheet.

The vinyl lettering transfer was tedious and troublesome effort as the script font and letter alignment were challenging..

The spray painted was easy peasy.
Very little base coating removed from painted textured papers with the transfer paper use on both projects.

Will definitely be doing the spray painted sign method again- @Chunky Mermaid thank you for this very valuable suggestion!
