New Birdie

When walking the dogs a few months ago I came across 2 birdcages. I wasn't sure what I was going to do with them.  I didn’t want to do succulents. I have seen those all over the internet. No flowers either. I had been waiting for a unusual idea for it. The mom of the little girl that was here today brought me a bird. Not a real one. But the kind that are on a black metal circle.A idea popped in my head! I painted the birdcage with Rustoleum 2x Gold Metallic. I taped around the bird and sprayed the metal circle and chain the same color.When they were dry I took a piece of wire that I had sprayed same color, and attached the bird to it. 

Isn’t he adorable! I have wanted a bird for a long time, but my doggie would go crazy. I ended up putting it in the family room. It looks real! I need a name….any suggestions?
