Fixed it? Disguised with Rustoleum

The bottom cover cap of my favorite travel umbrella (that stays in my car) dislodged and is lost.

A plastic threaded screw is visible.

Luckily it turns out a brass lock nut/ finial for a lamp harp that Ihad on hand is the perfect fitting.

A little spray of 2X satin canyon black provided the perfect finish to disguise this forced retrofit.

Until I can find the missing piece…….or not.
