<3IKEA<3 hack...with Rust-Oleum of course!

Everyone that knows me, knows I love Ikea.  It's both a blessing and a curse that it is down the street from me!!

I was so excited to see this little dude back at our local Ikea.   I have seen hacks that turns this into a card catalog looking little storage box and I had been wanting to try it.

I bought the first one....then decided that was not enough and needed another one and went back the next day!! Luckily, they are only 14.99.

I also put in my Amazon Prime order for 30 card catlog look handles that were only 9.99!  For 30!!!

For the first one, I used the varathane weathered wood accelerator.  I added the handles, but thought I had put them on too low, so I made note of that for the next attempt.

The second one, I used the Rust-Oleum spray paint in Rust-Oleum 249131 11 oz Universal All Surface Spray Paint, Oil Rubbed Bronze Metallic.

I then added the handles further up.

This was a quick and fairly inexpensive project that I enjoyed doing (minus the part of screwing in those little nails...patience eludes me always).
