TV Console Table

To replace a console table/cabinet I had gotten off of craigslist, I saw these plans on Rogue Engineer https://rogueengineer.com/diy-rustic-media-center-plans/ .

I changed the dimensions to fit our space and for an optimal viewing height, making it shorter. I used the dark walnut stain along with 3 coats of poly. I went more conservative with the harware, and added magnetic catches on the inside of both cabinets.

It's now mainly used for toy storage, since the surround sound equipment is all in the basement. Why is it that my wife doesn't like surround sound? I'm baffled.

But I do love how this turned out. The tapered legs were pretty fun. This was the second time I had tried it and I think next time would be a lot easier if I build a jig first.
