It's in the finish

We always enjoy trying different looks and finishes on projects, I had some extra time so I decided to try some different stain and paint on 3 of the same wood carvings. The first is all staining the second all paint and the third a combination of paint and stain. I think each has it's place but I prefer the first overall.
