Colorado Flag

I finally got to do something fun in the shop. My second oldest Grandson wanted my help on making this Colorado Flag for his apartment. I provided the shop and some stupidvisory service's, he did most of the work. :) We found some tongue and groove Beetle Kill Pine for wood. Brenden burned the C in with a wood burning tool so the stain would not bleed into the other colors. The red and blue stain were custom mixed and he used a pickled white wash for the white. The center of the C was left raw. The flag is 43" wide by 60" and 1/2" tongue and groove with four 2" fir stips screwed in the back to make it rigid. I think it turned out great for my Grandson first wood working project.
