Wedding Gift

Hard to believe our 'little neighbor boy' in our old neighborhood is getting married soon!  So, of course I had to make something special for his big day!  Him and his fiance are really into horses, so this gift is very fitting for them :)

I found the vintage horse bit at a flea market recently for $5, I had scrap wood and stained it with Varathane Briarsmoke.  Then I roughed up the edges with a little sanding.  I used my Silhouette to cut out "The Roberds" and "Est. June 10, 2017" in white vinyl, then used leather strips with tacks to hang the horse bit.  Love how it turned out!

Now, us married folks should also get a laugh out of the horse bit as a wedding gift since we've all probably needed one, or our spouse has....hahaha!
