Playroom Makeover

We've been working on the playroom! It's finally pretty much done. There's one thing I want to point out because it's something that REALLY bothered me and I didn't know what to do with it for a long time. I think this was a pretty good "fix".

You see the before picture above? This picture was on the sales flyer for the house (and yeah, we still bought the house). Believe me, the textured ceiling and orange paint went bye bye very quickly.

But, do you see the black circular vent thing on the ceiling? Apparently there used to be a fireplace or wood stove in this room that was taken out but this is still attached to the ceiling. I really didn't like how it just stood out like a sore thumb. But it'd take great measures to remove it (I think).

So, finally, I deided to paint it! ha! of couse...not sure why it took me 2 years to think of that. Although you can still see it, it's way better!  I used the Ultra Cover Mult-Purpose Gloss Brush-on Paint in White.
