Gator sander and 2X Gloss- made it possible.

Reattached the cup parts back together with superglue.
Deliberately left the handle off.
Filled any missing seam cracks with air dry clay.
Filled the inside glued seams ( to waterproof) and the outside mug handle attachment cavity with epoxy putty.
After the putty repair cured -sanded down much of the raised excess with a dremmel.
To get a good contour sanding the GATOR detail sander was next used.

Decoratively painted to disguise the repaired restoration and sealed with 2X gloss clear.
Now have a perfect little 🦉owl 🦉planter made from a busted mug.
