Vacation home bedroom redo

Submitted to Community Chat

My husband and I remodeled and furnished a vintage manufactured home over the winter as a lake side vacation home. I especially like how the “beach” themed bedroom came out. We removed the original closet doors to make room for two single beds and created a niche in a unused area. All the furnishings are upcycled using Rust-oleum paints. The stone grey on the bed frames is one of my favorites. We added a small shelf with hooks to the bottom of a large mirror for guests to hang clothes. The small table between the beds is the base from a swivel bar stool that I added shelves to for extra storage. Canyon black Rust-oleum paint ties these elements together. I made the cute accent pillow covers from all weather material that will withstand lots of visitors. Even the mid century arm chair from the original room got a coat of Canyon black spray paint and new upholstery. A cozy room for two!
