Get Pumped

Another project for the screened porch.  My husband got this old pump so many years ago I can't remember when; but life was so busy then it was something else that I never got around to.  However, it's finally found it's place on our porch

I used Rust-Oleum Rust Dissolver to remove all of the rust and spray painted it with Rust-Oleum Hammered Antique Pewter.  Then I used some scrap wood to build a vintage looking stand to bolt it down.  The stand was finished with Varathane Weathered Wood Accelerator.  I painted a bucket with a light teal and added some flowers.

The first thing my grandson asked was, "Can I pump water out of it?".  Gladly the answer was "No", it does not pump water.
