Faux Stone Finish

Since natural textures are still trending, I wanted to do something that I hadn't tried yet (so far, I've got everything from pinecones and burr oak acorns to 'snow-kissed' epsom salt evergreen branches and glowing snowballs). I hadn't worked 'stone' into my decor yet. So I made up a doughy paste with flour, salt, water, and coffee granules and used that to coat a plastic planter. A coat of Rust-Oleum matte clear coat sealed everything up and now it looks like stone!
