Easy Twig Tree

It doesn't get any easier than this! I like the simplicity of the twig tree, especially during this busy time of year.
I started by collecting fallen twigs from my lawn, there's never a shortage of those. I cut sixteen of them in graduated lengths, starting with 12". I drilled a hole in the center of each one and threaded them onto a section of a strong metal coat hanger that I had cut to length.

I drilled another hole in a small piece for a trunk then screwed this into a 4x4 slice that I roughly painted with Rust-Oleum Linen White Chalked Paint. I wanted it to look rustic. I cut a small star from scrap wood, spray painted it with Rust-Oleum Dark Bronze spray paint. Next I added some Testors Glitter Paint.
