Hewn Beam Coffee Table

Huge Industrial Rustic coffee table. Here we used 1844 hewn barn beams to create a one of a kind coffee table. We had glass lying around, and I had this idea for a giant coffee table. We went out and bought some barn beams and got to cutting. We added black pipe for spacers and stability, they also lock in the beams. The Glass is inserted into some mortise cuts. If you have ever handled barn beams they are littered with splinters! We wanted to keep everything naturally colored so we only sealed it with Rustoleum Triple thick. Triple thick seals in all those pesky splinters without ever having to sand!
