Something's Fishy

What do you do when you have a large wooden board hanging around? By golly, you make a fish!

This beauty is 43"x10". First off, I sketched out a fish onto the board, then cut out the shape, and drilled out the opening for the eye, and sanded. I then did an ombre effect using four colors of Rust-Oleum's 2X spray paint in Lagoon, Oasis Blue, Seaside, and Ocean Mist. I 'painted' a beach hut scene using Artistro water-based paint pens. Next was using Rust-Oleum's Satin Clear Spray Sealer to protect everything. Next I glued in the glass eye, and attached a sawtooth hanger. Lastly, I drilled three holes into the lower jaw and added some super glue to each hole and placed a four-sided nail into each.

VOILA!!!
