UPDATE TO WEDDING FLUTES

I HAVE FINISHED THE WEDDING FLUTES!  

The flutes are pecan with with a finish I make myself.  The box is a mixture of Varathane Red Mahogony and Dark Walnut with 40, yes, 40 coats of Varathane Poly, sanded with 400 sand paper between coats and finished wit 4 coats of wood paste wax polished with 0000 steel wool.   Feels like glass and I am very happy with it.
