Fabric painting

I bought this set of chairs and wanted to paint them because the fabric is not my color of choice. The fabric is in great condition, but the color is all wrong.  The upholsterer couldn't get them off to re-do so I figure I'd paint them (black).. Has anyone used the spray paint on fabric? If so what was your result.
