Lightening up rustic wood easily

Sharing an interesting idea and technique to create a rustic board.

I am using some salvaged wood - a reclaimed piece of a pallet.

You can add or remove as much of the applied coating as you want.

Will use a 2X clear seal coat before adding my decorative project.

This seems like a great upcycle for rough rustic textured pallet wood to easily give it a lighter patina.
