Unclaimed Veterans remains find final resting place.

Submitted to Community Chat

Earilier this year members of the Vietnam Veterans 1071 ( http://vva1071.org/honors-burial-project.html ) came to the Colorado Woodworkers Guild and asked the members at large to make Urns for them. They stated they had one local mortuary with 800 remains in cardboard boxes. They expected that maybe they could process paper work and get  20% of them approved for Commmittal at Fort Logan Cemitary.

I started on Memorial Day making three Urns and finished later that week. I deleivered to the gal in charge for CNC ingraving. I am sure there are other Veterans Groups working on this same problem through out the country.

Thanks and Happy 4th of July,

Dale
