Baby Whale

Made this cute little guy using Rust-Oleum's Chalked paint in Coastal Blue, a bunch of different acrylic paint colors, and Rust-Oleum's Painter's Touch 2X UltraCover Gloss Clear.  I sketched him out on a piece of scrap wood, cut it out using an electric jigsaw, and did a bit of sanding to smooth him out.  I used the drill press to create a socket for the eye, and drilled a hole for the stretched out door stop (aka waterspout) to sit in.  I used several different techniques to get the crazy mixed-up colors; and an un-sharpened pencil, and rounded tip of a paintbrush for the dots.  I sealed the painted baby whale with the gloss clear.  I then used Gorilla Glue to adhere the glass eye and waterspout.  Baby Whale measures a petite 17" across and 10" from top to bottom not including his waterspout.
