Casita in spanish means a small house; in this case a small cat house (or cat-sita). My daughter begged me to build something for her cats to climb on, which resulted in this maybe not so small Spanish Amazon Home.
The cats love it and with it's scratching posts and areas to lay around, including a hammock, they are very content. There are mice running up one of the posts (fake of course), a parrot hanging in it's perch (when the cats punch at it, it squawks at them), and a fish hanging down for them to grab.
The next project is a "Catio" that they can access from their house (while working around other projects). I would love to see photos of any cat house builds that someone has done.
