Concrete cracks

I am new home owner of a 23 year old house and I have noticed that our concrete garage floor has a few cracks. I am worried about potential leaks going into our basement below and was curious if there is a sealant/resurfacing you'd recommend? Also, I live in a city with a lot of snow where salt is used by the city during the winters. So, there is often snow/salt dripping from the car during the winter. Lastly, I have a toddler so I am cognizant of the chemicals that we use.
