Needed idea for a newborn gift.
Routinely bring matchbox trucks/cars for 2 yo brother...a simple painted canvas created for our newest grandson.
- Stretched canvas primed with bull’s-eye 123 primer making a smoother surface and a masking taped off border painted gray (wrap around to include side edges)
- Painted sun and background and sealed with 2X matte sealer.
- Sealing helps background acrylic paint from pulling off while using transfer tape and decals....lesson learned the hard way.
- Custom Cricut stencil messaging applied.
A more skilled vinyl application might be a curved text personalization.
Back sealed with brown craft paper.
Ready for optional hanging or shelf sitting.
