Nativity Manger

This nativity scene was painted and bisque-fired in a kiln by my grandmother in 1952. She lovingly painted all of the pieces in the nativity. The original manger my Dad made many years ago, but sadly it fell apart quite some time ago. My Mom knew how much I loved setting up the manger with her each year, and she made sure it was passed it onto me when she died. Today I set the nativity up remembering all the wonderful memories it has held for my family for several generations. Always keep Christmas in your heart....
