For the New House Entryway
We've never had an "entryway" before, and the new house has one...so I needed a table! We haven't moved yet, so this photo is still in our 'old' house. ;) This can be built for around $20, but I opted for the premium pine for the top, so it was closer to $35 (I think).
The top is finished in Early American & Ebony by Minwax. NOTE: I don't know why our Lowe's and Home Depot do not carry Varathane or Rust-Oleum stains!!!! I sealed it with RustOleum's Triple Thick Poly - very nice product!! The base has the faux metal finish on it, which was shown in the Bower Power video on here. I love that look! I used Rust-Oleum's metallic spray paint in Nickel and then brushed the Ebony stain on using the technique described in the video. This is my 2nd piece using that faux metal finish on... :)
The "hello" sign is something I bought to go on this table before I even had it built, so of course I had to try it on!
