Back In The Saddle Again

I'm FINALLY getting my groove back in the craft room after having surgery in mid-March. You would think they removed my creative juices for all the lack of crafting I've done. Needless to say, the juices are flowing and I've started making signs again. Wake*Pray*Slay is a good reminder for me to be thankful to have a great day ahead of me to slay all those things I love to do!
Super simple sign:
- Sanded a small board
- Painted board with Rust-Oleum Chalked Paint in Linen White
- Gave the white paint a very light sanding
- Added a stencil made on my Cricut
- Painted the words with Rust-Oleum Chalked Paint in Charcoal
- Painted the hearts with gold craft paint
- Carefully removed stencil when paint was dry
- Sealed sign with Rust-Oleum Chalked Protective Topcoat in Matte Clear
- Cut a frame using 1x2's
- Stained the wood pieces for the frame
- Attached the wood pieces to the sign with brad nailer
- Attached a sawtooth hanger to the back for hanging
- VOILA!!!
