Rustic X Coffee Table

I've completed my coffee table! This is a popular Ana-White plan that I truly love. I used Varathane fast dry stain in Briarsmoke. I chose to stain all the parts before assembly, that worked out great. After letting the stain dry for a day or so, I made a 50/50 combination of Rust-Oleum Chalked Paint in Linen White with water. I wiped it on and let it sit for about 2-3 minutes, then with a clean rag, wiped most of it away. It's so easy to do and you can really control how much of the paint to wipe away. I left the top boards with just the stain finish. Next I added some metal detail on the metal corner pieces by spray painting them with Rust-Oleum Oil Rubbed Bronze spray paint.
It will certainly get a lot of use, and there's nothing that can happen to it that I can't fix!
