First everyone should follow my YouTube ch @ZachTheMaker LOL. Like most people here I have almost stopped using Instagram (maybe once a month I check it). I cancelled Twitter. Haven't looked at Pinterest in a year plus. Despise Facebook but do like browsing Facebook Marketplace for tools. I do watch A LOT of YouTube everyday. 90% of my social media and viewing daily is YouTube. YouTube is the perfect platform to learn from creators.

Way back before social media, and before DIY cable TV there was a thing called PBS. I watched every episode of This Old House as young as I can remember. That show featured Master Carpenter Norm Abram whom is probably the biggest inspiration for myself and thousands of others. Norm had the PBS show The New Yankee Workshop. It was a show that actually showed you step by step how to build things. Todays HGTV shows just show before and after with BS actual work. Norm Abram is also just a wonderful guy who stressed proper safety gear.

Making it which ran for 3 seasons on NBC is fantastic. It's great because it features a bunch of different creator and isn't a cut throat reality show but all the creator help each other and are kind.

NerdForge on YouTube is fun to watch and you can learn a lot of great painting and airbrush techniques.

Myself - I spend a lot of time daydreaming and talking to myself. That's where most of my inspiration happens. If you want to watch me talking to myself and eventually make something follow my YouTube ch @ZachTheMaker
