Its been awhile since a real vacation destination.

In the past I had enjoyed the airline flights to an international or domestic timeshare rental or VRBO sharing the space with family.

Its a wonderful direct efficient way to get to a destination to enjoy that destinations experience.

Now in international travel situations after arrival there is nothing like public trains such as the EuroStar or Swiss Rail system.

Looking forward to trying Japans rail too.

Greece had a ferry system you could drive your rental car onto….to visit the islands.

Most of our international rail, boat even bus travel have been pretty relaxing flawless and very pleasant experiences.

Viewed this today, how unbelievably charming and visually enchanting.

10/24 Edit …..wow ….actually got there years later ——trip cancelled because of pandemic …Japanese public -transport bus, taxi, train, subway, bullet train) is absolutely impeccable and….quite unique being silent….quiet.

Amazing destination that is highly recommended for your consideration for adding to your travel bucket list…..
