Back in I think 2012 I created a motorcycle travel adventure documentary called Pursuit Horizon. It was really a film about a search for purpose and finding examples of happiness in one's work. Just disguised as a travel adventure film.

I found Amanda while working on the idea for the film. I needed an experienced motorcycle rider who could tackle anything with a positive attitude, take three plus months off work, and handle the extreme filming conditions. After approaching her about the idea she came back to our second meeting with a plan to make it happen. She also expanded on the idea turning it into a true adventure.

We then were able to get Honda, Dunlop, Parts Unlimited, JOBY, and a few others as sponsors for the film.

We then set off with just the two motorcycles, six cameras, laptop, 14 hard drives, tent, and a few provisions. Over the next 90 days we would travel through 27 states and more than 12,000 miles. The last few thousand miles would have us crossing the US using the off road back trails only.

Why is it my happiest job?

Amanda and I bonded during the whole experience. 124 degree weather, riding through hurricanes, coming extremely close to being stranded hundred of miles away from civilization, all while being with that person 24/7 for 90+ days. Yes this film is the one where I found the love of my life. Amanda and I have been inseparable since.
