Apologize-Not sure exactly what is meant by the term 'magnificent metallics'

I have always liked the addition of metallics - in some degree- without regard to following any particular trend.

I use added changed metallic finishes on every day decor items like frames, a jewelry holder and as accents added on various seasonal holiday decor.

I have often switched up metallic colors found in thrifted objects like picture frames, candlesticks and more to suit my desire or to blend cohesively.

Over the last two decades in particular, the use of spray paint easily achieves my needs.

I feel that the spray paint formulations have come long way.

In the past decades ago- used a gold powder from Italy from an art store added to gold acrylic to get a pleasing bright realistic luster and shine.

The new properties of spray paint make it more effectively and easily accomplished.

My most recent use is the metallic color evolution of my BR vanity jewelry holder.

The unattractive white ceramic with painted fingernails was first painted a silver or brushed nickel at a prior home (that had the brushed nickel hardware and lighting) then it was oil rubbed bronze to match the doorknobs when downsizing and a few weeks ago sprayed it metallic black stainless to try out the new-to-me color. For me its not following a trend. It’s suiting your location or maybe trying out a new product or using up an existing product that you have.

Maybe alternatively just wanting a new look while fixing some scratches.

Examples of my use of metallic painted finishes in tiles

1- Thrifted large gold frame changed to a patinated pewter

2- Copper accents on acorns and pumpkins

3- Plastic DT ornaments made to look like old antiqued silver ornaments

4- DT bright silvertone bells treated with several layers of spray paints to mimic rustic brass bells

4- Black DT plastic frame sprayed silver and antiqued/ spattered for holiday project

Always present regardless of trend
