Charcuterie class #2: Varathane Pours

Submitted to Rust-O Resources

The Rust-Oleum team is serving up the ABCs of charcuterie boards! Check out this video on building the perfect board.

Epoxy resin allows you to make your charcuterie board truly one-of-a-kind. With multiple colors to choose from, combined with your own creativity, the possibilities are endless.

As with a wood charcuterie board, the first step is to sand your wood board, then apply Watco Butcher Block Oil and let it dry. Then, after preparing your Varathane Tinted Super Glaze epoxy resin in the color of your choice, pour it onto your charcuterie board. Let the epoxy flow to achieve a more abstract look, or use a spreader for more uniform coverage.

After the Super Glaze epoxy resin has cured on your charcuterie board, you can choose to apply additional layers. Once the final layer of epoxy resin has cured, your charcuterie board is ready for use.
