Which Challenge(s) did you win?
Canmade Pride Challenge - Most Professionally Produced Video.
What did you love and what were your struggles with this project?
I loved that the final product REALLY changed the entire look of the room! The ceiling became the focal point and your eye was drawn upwards every time you walked into the room.
I think my biggest struggle was ensuring I figured out the project correctly THE FIRST TIME, lol. My process for any project is to figure it out as I go and in this case, I was working with a flat white ceiling. If I messed up, it would be very difficult to cover up.
Enquiring minds want to know -- what did you do with your prize winnings?!
I donated all of my earnings to the non-profit animal rescue, CARE STL in St. Louis, MO. They have a 99.8% no-kill rate (only euthanize if medically necessary for terminally sick animals) and they were in the process of creating additional space in to house more animals. They used the gift card towards supplies for construction. I also love that one of their programs is to rehabilitate people. There are many cases of animal abuse in St. Louis, especially coming out of prisons. CARE STL conducts classes to teach empathy to offenders with the goal of stopping the cycle of animal abuse (which can also progress to abuse towards people).

Yes, but...
Earlier this year, my doggie DIY partner and co-host, Bailey Bobcat, had an unexpected turn in his health. I'd hoped he'd get stronger and want to get back to making DIYs and filming with me. However, in late July, he took a turn for the worst and I ultimately had to make the excruciating decision that no pet parent ever wants to make. My sweet boy crossed Rainbow Bridge on July 24th and I just haven't been able to even think about starting a new DIY project since.

What projects do you currently have on the go?
Nothing in the works yet, since Bailey's passing. I've been pretty quiet on social media, on the Creator's Studio platform, and pretty much everywhere.

My favorite part is how friendly and supportive this community is ❤️ Members here are always happy to share an encouraging comment or revel in some wonderful little detail that you added. It's a rare quality on the internet and such a valuable thing! I think the loveliest, most creative people gravitate here ❤️
Bonus: if you could dream up an epic DIY Challenge, what would it be? (And what 🏆 prizes would you offer?!)
Mine would be animal related - a DIY challenge to create something that would enhance the daily life of your pet. The prize would be a donation to the animal non-profit of the winner's choice.
