Where are they now? Creator's Studio Challenge Winners Hall of Fame 🤩

Submitted to What's New

Check out this submission in the Creator's Studio 'Where are They Now' Challenge winners hall of fame! Today we're spending time with @Artistrybyshaw

Which Challenge(s) did you win?

I won Originality Overload in last year's Halloween Spook-Tacular Challenge

What did you love and what were your struggles with this project?

Well I love my flamingos so making them beautiful was the fun part. I had a hard time finding the skeletons the size I wanted so they could ride the flamingos. But really that is about it.

Enquiring minds want to know -- what did you do with your prize winnings?!

What I did with the winning gift card was buy more crafts supplies of course!

Are you still DIYing?

Yes I am still DIYing. To me it is an addiction, to create. It is fun and relaxing to create something either upcycled from old items or something from scratch. Not everyone likes to do that but that is my passion.

What projects do you currently have on the go?

I also sell my creations at craft shows, or my house would be overrun with stuff. So getting ready for 3 fall craft sales this month and a big christmas show in Dec. My mind is just full of things I want to get done but only so much time do create.

Feel free to post your social media links in here if applicable.

What's your favorite part of the Creator's Studio community? How would you describe this community to a friend?

My favorite part of the Creator's Studio community is the mini challanges. And I love getting ideas from other members projects. I have described this community as a fun place to get ideas and show off your ideas and maybe even win some prizes.

Bonus: if you could dream up an epic DIY Challenge, what would it be? (And what 🏆 prizes would you offer?!)

I would do challenges a little different. When we are competing for a challenge some of the projects are large pieces of funiture and other pieces are very small, I would have them competing more with like items. Also more prizes maybe smaller prizes. I also think that catogories for entering first time new DIYer but next time, cant remember what it was called but I am still learning my craft as I have only been at it for 3 years. Many of these DIYers have been working their craft for several years. I just mean more levels for DIYers.
