Describe your project. How did it go? How did you embrace the theme of 'Hang on to Summer'? Did you enjoy working with the Color Shift paints?
I've had this tray for a long time and never really knew what to do with it until I got this color shift paint and decided this was a great piece to try it on! I was really excited to try this because it was kinda out of my comfort zone of farmhouse Chalked Paint everything, lol. However I did use Chalked Paint in Charcoal as my base coat on the tray and then sprayed two coats of the Color Shift in Pink Champagne. It was really cool seeing the color changes while I was spraying it. My original plan was to paint the base of the tray and decoupage tissue paper but it just didn't look right. So I took some scrapbook paper and used Modge Podge to apply it to the tray and love the way it looks! Hope you do too!
