Wondered…what would the experts do?

Hello! Quick question for the product experts curious for a possible recommendation please.

Recently acquired two preowned cherry narrowish nightstands from Marketplace.

However getting them home and into position with room lighting they are a darker tone than the cherry headboard. For reference: Overhead lights on, tabletop lamps off in these photos. Shade is closed.

If the expert were to try to darken the headboard to better match the bedside tables….what would they do, what product to use?

The cherry furniture pieces are in excellent nearly pristine condition was hoping (dreaming) there might be a wipe on stain to darken the cherry wood tone without aggressively stripping and sanding the headboard knowing both the furnitures condition and the curves moldings and appliqué details present.

So much easier to paint things cohesively….but that is not my wish sadly.
