Farmhouse decor

I love to upcycle decor. When I get the opportunity to recycle materials that’s a bonus. This cute little box is made from 2 fence pickets and a spindle off an antique swivel mirror. I assembled it with wood glue and nails for extra durability. My favorite Rustoleum color is Linen White I use it in lots of my furniture and decor updates. I used 2 coats of it all over this piece then used a sander to heavily distress it for a more rustic look. I used a transfer to give it a little more interest and sealed it with Varethane satin top coat.
