I've been absent and I've missed being here

We lost our precious Lily Kitty to heart failure in August; she was 9 and it was an unexpected and painful process; I've been absent here, and I'm sure there are many who know exactly what we've been through. Sweet Lily came to us as a rescue, and the same friend encouraged us to adopt two rescues - they're 4-month-old babies, and we're now in love. I can only imagine how much Lily would've loved our new babies: Cali and Lucy. Our hearts are full :)
