Outdoor furniture finish

I'm in the process of building a adarondack chair and I'm using cedar and if anyone has any ideas on what to use as a finish that would show the the nice grain in the wood. So I'm looking for something that is clear and or very close to clear and also weather protection. I'm thinking of using teak oil but I've never used teak oil before. Any suggestions???
