Just getting started...

Above is a fun project I made for the holidays. I had pallet wood from pallets I had broken down to recycle. I used a coat of Rustoleums flat white on unsanded pallet wood, then stapled clear lights all along the edges. Also made a red neck Christmas tree from pallet wood. The words were created in MS publisher, printed and then I traced the letters on the wood with tracing paper I use for sewing. I used craft acrylic paint to hand paint the words. Finished with a coat of Rustoleum clear protective spray . I have wanted to make things from wood as long as I remembered, but never had time, confidence, tools or materials. I am learning a lot and loving it.
