Lake house bedroom renovation

Our lake house began as a vintage single wide manufactured home. Over the past winter we did a full trailer redo including recycled furniture. The single bed room got all white wall paint like the rest of the house. A resale shop sailboat lamp was the inspiration for the decorating colors. I refinished an old microwave cart as a bedside table and curb pick up twin bed frame. The cart was painted my go to Rust-Oleum Ultra Cover Blossom White while the classic doors were re-stained and varnished. I glued an old world map to a board and attached it to the back of the cart. On the bed frame I used a base coat of Rust-Oleum Ultra Cover Canyon Black and then dry brushed Claret Wine over that to get more depth of color and a vintage look. Other room decor pieces pick up the red and blue theme.
