Sponge brush tip

I have found when using a sponge brush, placing it in a single finger of  inexpensive disposable dollar store glove makes the sponge applicator useful for extended period of time for use with both paint and decoupage medium. Once settled in the pocket of the finger I have twisted the glove and clipped it shut with a clothespin ——>in a lollipop fashion as shown in the photo.

I haven’t actually timed each interval but to my surprise it has worked many days for the decoupage medium. It makes transitioning from project to project efficient with time and supplies while waiting for the coat to dry.

The bags work well for the brush storage freezer method too.
