wood stain trial

I got the piece of wood and the stain to try out. It was so n ice that it came with a rag to wipe down and a foam brush to apply. I'm not one to just use up a brush for one thing, so after I stained the wood you sent, I remembered a cute little Christmas gift I gave years ago to my son - Tree Farm! But the trees were made of money!

I never liked the "newness" of the cheap wood the signs were made from so I stained them and they look much better.

I think I will always use a foam brush from now on- the stain went on well and they were disposable. I liked the color of Early American. Not too dark, not too light. It was just right to ad some graining and color.
