Aztec Design Painting

I designed this Aztec inspired design on Cricut Design Space, and cut out the vinyl on my extra-large cutter. I then stained a large board using Varathane Gel Stain in Golden Pecan. Once dried I sprayed the board with a couple coats of Rust-Oleum Painter's Touch 2X UltraCover Matte Clear to prevent stain bleed-thru. I then applied the vinyl and painted the design using Rust-Oleum Chalked Ultra Matte Paint in Charcoal. After the paint had dried I sprayed a couple coats of Rust-Oleum Painter's Touch 2X UltraCover Satin Clear over the top. I cut and sanded some boards down to size for the frame, which I stained with a black stain. Using a nail gun I attached the frame to the sign, added a couple of D-rings for hanging....and I'm calling this project done!
